Betway Premier League Fixture

The first nine round of fixtures are now out, and opening night on February 2nd in Newcastle we are in for a real treat. The standout tie is the clash between world number one and world number two, Michael van Gerwen takes on Gary Anderson in a repeat of the world championship final. The pair met in the showpiece final at Ally Pally a month ago, and served up treat for everyone watching. Both players averaged well over the 100 mark and hit a staggering 42 180s between them, but it was van Gerwen who came out on top to win his second world title. It is again van Gerwen, and Anderson who are the bookie’s favourites to win the Premier League, van Gerwen is odds on at 8/15 while Anderson is 9/2. The rest of the field are 10/1 and greater, showing just how the top two have dominated over the last two years. Currently, van Gerwen holds every television ranking major, after he won a record 26 titles in 2016. Speaking after he won his second world title last month, the great Dutchman was as hungry as ever to defend them all.
