Day One Of The Shanghai Masters

Day one of the Shanghai Masters 2016 is now complete, and the top PDC stars all made it through to the quarter-finals. Gary Anderson, Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis only dropped one leg between them. World number one Micael van Gerwen had the trickiest looking game against Paul Lim, and it proved to be that way. Lim pushed van Gerwen the whole way, but the world number one just had too much winning 6-4. Raymond van Barneveld thrilled the crowd to a stunning 161 finish in the final leg of his 6-2 victory. Peter Wright and James Wade, both 6-1 and Dave Chisnall 6-2, competeed the days play.
