World number one Michael van Gerwen finally broke his duck in Australia, as the Dutchman won the Perth Masters. In the semi-final MvG would have to get by Peter Wright, Snakebite was the star of the show yesterday as he averaged 109 when beating Corey Cadby. Wright never hit the heights of yesterday, and with only 25% on his doubles was never going to trouble the world number one. The draw for the first round of the Perth Masters has taken place, and has thrown up some mouth watering ties. The standout match is a repeat of a game we saw in Sydney, as world number one Michael van Gerwen will take on home favourite Kyle Anderson.
