Day one of the Tokyo Masters is complete, with all the PDC stars making it through the opening round. In fairness, none of the seeds had to get out of second gear, as the local talent failed to test them. World number one Michael van Gerwen was showing some signs of rust, following his holiday in Thailand after the Shanghai Masters. Tough Looking Test For Taylor After The Tokyo Masters 1st Round Draw

The draw for the 2016 Tokyo Masters is now complete. The reigning champion Phil Taylor will start his defence against Haruki Muramatsu, this coming Wednesday. Taylor has the toughest looking of the first round games, as Muramatsu is the most experienced Japanese player. Muramatsu has played Taylor on three occasions but lost all three.
